Welcome to SG Aesthetics.  I am Sarah Gilmour BAcN, Masters in Professional non-surgical aesthetics, Registered General Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber with over 20 years of experience in aesthetic practice.

Based in Morpeth, Northumberland I offer a wide range of tailor-made aesthetic treatments at the cutting edge of science and beauty.  From wrinkle reducing injections to dermal fillers and collagen stimulators, my aim is to help you look your best and feel amazing.

I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Cambridge 1995 and proceeded to work at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle for three years on the General Surgical Ward. 

Since 1999 I have worked within the speciality of aesthetics holding senior roles with many of the leading providers of surgical and non-surgical treatments such as The Harley Medical Group and Skin.  During this time I developed vast experience and knowledge in the use of both Dermal Fillers and Botulinum Toxin and am an advanced practitioner in both areas.

Additionally, my experience also extends to a variety of devices including those used for hair removal, tattoo removal, thread vein removal, skin resurfacing and radiofrequency for skin tightening.

I have attained a BTEC Award in Skin and Laser Application and have attended numerous master classes, conferences and training sessions to boost my knowledge and expertise.

I achieved my Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification in 2012 which has enabled me to work autonomously, and create SG Aesthetics where I practise non-surgical aesthetic treatments, offering a free of charge, no-obligation bespoke consultations and perform a wide range of treatments appropriate to individual requirements with committed aftercare.

I have a Master’s Degree in Professional Non -Surgical Aesthetics Practice from Northumbria University which I passed with distinction.

Professionally, I am registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Council, a member of the Aesthetic Complication Group and insured through Hiscox Insurance, so you can be assured you are in good hands!

I also have a referral pathway for those patients who cannot achieve the desired results through non surgical treatments. I can offer direct referrals to Mr Nic Collis, Consultant Plastic Surgeon (RVI) with surgery being performed at the Newcastle Nuffield Hospital in Jesmond.
