ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS IN MORPETH

Softer lines. Natural expression.

Anti-wrinkle injections are a popular non-surgical treatment for softening dynamic wrinkles — the lines and creases that develop through repeated facial movement such as smiling, frowning and squinting.

The treatment uses botulinum toxin to temporarily reduce the activity of selected facial muscles. As the muscles relax, the skin overlying them becomes smoother, reducing the appearance of existing expression lines and helping to prevent them from becoming more pronounced over time.

At SG Aesthetics, treatment is carefully tailored to your individual facial movement, features and desired outcome. The aim isn’t to remove expression or create a frozen appearance, but to soften unwanted lines while maintaining natural movement and facial balance.

Areas we treat

Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to treat a number of areas of the upper face, including:

Frown lines
Vertical lines that develop between the eyebrows as a result of repeated frowning or concentration.

Forehead lines
Horizontal lines caused by repeatedly raising the eyebrows.

Crow’s feet
Fine lines that appear at the outer corners of the eyes, particularly when smiling or squinting.

Depending on your individual facial anatomy and concerns, botulinum toxin can also be used to treat a number of other areas, including:

Bunny lines
Lines that appear across the nose when smiling or scrunching.

Brow lift
Horizontal lines caused by repeatedly raising the eyebrows.

Downturned mouth
To soften a downward pull at the corners of the mouth

Chin dimpling
To smooth a dimpled or “peau d’orange” appearance

Lip flip
To subtly relax the upper lip and enhance its appearance

Neck bands
To soften prominent platysmal bands and improve the appearance of the neck

Gummy smile
To reduce excessive upper gum show when smiling

Masseter slimming
To soften a wider lower face where appropriate

Nose tip
To reduce downward movement of the tip when smiling

Facial slimming and contouring
In selected patients where muscle activity contributes to facial shape

A considered approach

With more than 25 years’ experience in aesthetic practice, Sarah takes a measured approach to anti-wrinkle treatment. Rather than treating lines in isolation, she considers how the facial muscles work together and how treatment may affect your overall facial expression and balance.

Every treatment is individually assessed, with the aim of achieving a natural result while maintaining facial expression and movement.

The result should be a fresher, more rested appearance while still looking completely like you.

When will I see results?

The effects of botulinum toxin develop gradually rather than appearing immediately. You may begin to notice a difference within a few days, with the full effect usually becoming apparent after around two weeks. Results vary between individuals and depend on factors including the treatment area, muscle activity and the amount of product used.

Supporting your results at home

At SG Aesthetics, we believe that good skin health extends beyond in-clinic treatments. A personalised homecare routine using Obagi Medical® skincare may be recommended alongside your treatment to support your results and help maintain healthy-looking skin over time.

to improve the quality, hydration and overall appearance of the skin

SKIN BOOSTERS IN MORPETH

Better skin. Not a different face.

Skin booster treatments are designed to improve the quality, hydration, luminosity and resilience of your skin without changing your facial shape or adding the volume associated with traditional dermal fillers.

At SG Aesthetics, we offer a range of injectable skin treatments, each working in a different way to support healthier-looking skin. The most appropriate treatment depends on your skin, your concerns and the results you would like to achieve.

Every treatment begins with a personal consultation, allowing us to assess your skin and recommend the approach that is right for you.

Teosyal® PureSense Redensity 1

For hydrated, luminous and rejuvenated skin.

Redensity 1 is an advanced injectable skin booster designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality.

Ideal for:

  • Dehydrated skin
  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • Fine lines
  • Loss of radiance
  • Overall skin quality

Its unique formulation combines hyaluronic acid with a carefully selected Dermo-Restructuring Complex containing eight amino acids, three antioxidants, two minerals and one vitamin. These ingredients work together to support skin hydration and improve the appearance of fine lines, dullness and tired-looking skin.

Teoxane babyGLOW™

For radiance, refinement & skin luminosity.

Teoxane babyGLOW™ is a new injection technique designed to enhance skin quality and deliver an immediate glowing effect using TEOSYAL® Redensity 1, delivered through a series of carefully placed, superficial microinjections.

This precision-based technique focuses on improving skin hydration, texture and luminosity, creating a smoother, fresher and more radiant complexion. babyGLOW™ is particularly suited to patients concerned about fine lines, dullness, dehydrated skin and early signs of ageing.

The aim is to achieve a naturally refreshed appearance without adding facial volume.

Glow & Firm: Profhilo®

For hydration, firmness and improved skin quality.

Profhilo® is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity and firmness. Rather than adding traditional filler-like volume, it works to improve the overall quality and appearance of the skin.

It can be particularly suitable for skin showing signs of dehydration, loss of firmness or elasticity, including the face, neck and other areas affected by skin laxity.

Ideal for:

  • Loss of firmness
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Fine lines
  • Crepey or tired-looking skin
  • Reduced elasticity and skin laxity

The aim is skin that looks smoother, fresher, firmer and more luminous, while maintaining your natural appearance.

PhilArt Next combines polynucleotides with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid to support hydration, elasticity, firmness and overall skin quality.

  • Loss of elasticity
  • Fine lines
  • Dullness
  • Mature skin
  • Overall skin rejuvenation

Regenerate: Polynucleotides

For skin regeneration, repair and resilience.

Ideal for:

  • Fine lines
  • Crepey skin
  • Reduced elasticity
  • Delicate under-eye skin
  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • Improving overall skin quality

Results develop gradually, with improvements in the texture, elasticity and quality of the skin rather than a change in facial shape. Find out more here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve the quality, hydration and overall appearance of the skin without adding significant volume or changing your facial shape. At SG Aesthetics, we offer Redensity 1, Profhilo® and PolyPhil™ Polynucleotides, with each treatment working in a slightly different way.

The most appropriate treatment depends on your skin, concerns and desired outcome. Redensity 1 can be particularly suited to hydration and luminosity, Profhilo® to hydration, firmness and elasticity, and Polynucleotides to supporting skin quality, resilience and regeneration. Your consultation will help determine which treatment, or combination of treatments, is most appropriate for you.

Most people find treatment manageable. Numbing cream can be applied before treatment to help minimise discomfort. You may experience some temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or small raised bumps afterwards, which usually settle relatively quickly.

Skin boosters are not designed to produce an immediate change in facial shape or volume. Results develop gradually as the skin responds to treatment, with improvements in hydration, texture, firmness and overall skin quality becoming more noticeable over the following weeks. The timing and extent of results varies depending on the treatment and individual.

Dermal Fillers

DERMAL FILLERS IN MORPETH

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to restore volume, soften lines and wrinkles, and enhance facial contours.

Most dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body and is found in the skin, eyes and joints, where it helps to maintain hydration and provide lubrication.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be used in different areas of the face, including the cheeks, lips, around the mouth and eyes, and along the jawline. They can be used to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, improve definition and provide subtle lip augmentation, depending on your individual needs and desired results.

There are many different types and brands of hyaluronic acid fillers available in the UK, each with its own properties and characteristics. At SG Aesthetics, we use TEOSYAL®, a premium range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. The range includes products with different gel densities and properties, allowing the most appropriate filler to be selected for each treatment area and desired outcome.

Dermal Filler Treatment Areas

Dermal fillers can be used to treat a variety of facial concerns, depending on your individual anatomy, skin quality and desired outcome.

Lips
Lip filler can be used to enhance lip shape, definition and volume, or to restore volume that has been lost with age. Treatment can be tailored to create a subtle, natural enhancement rather than an overfilled appearance.

Cheeks
Cheek filler can restore volume lost through the ageing process and enhance the natural contours of the mid-face. It can help improve cheek definition and create a more refreshed appearance.

Nasolabial Folds
Dermal filler can be used to soften the appearance of lines that run from the nose towards the corners of the mouth. Treatment is tailored to the individual, with the aim of restoring support rather than simply filling the line.

Marionette Lines
Marionette lines are the creases that develop from the corners of the mouth towards the chin. Dermal filler may help soften these lines and restore support to the lower face.

Chin
Chin filler can enhance chin projection, definition and balance. In carefully selected patients, it can also help improve overall facial proportions and profile.

Jawline
Dermal filler can be used to enhance jawline definition and restore structure to the lower face. Treatment can be particularly effective where there has been age-related loss of volume or definition.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Small amounts of dermal filler can be used to refine certain areas of the nose, helping to create the appearance of a straighter or more balanced profile. This treatment requires careful assessment and is only suitable for selected patients.

Tear Troughs
Tear trough filler can be used in carefully selected patients to reduce the appearance of hollowness beneath the eyes. This is a highly specialised area requiring detailed assessment to determine suitability.

Temples
Loss of volume around the temples can contribute to a more hollow or aged appearance. Dermal filler may be used to restore volume and create a softer transition between the forehead and cheeks.

Facial Contouring
Dermal fillers can also be strategically placed across different areas of the face to restore balance, definition and proportion. Rather than treating an individual line or wrinkle, a tailored approach may be used to harmonise the overall appearance of the face.

A considered approach to Dermal Fillers

With more than 25 years’ experience in aesthetic practice and advanced experience in dermal fillers, Sarah takes a considered, individual approach to every treatment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to dermal fillers.

During your consultation, Sarah will assess your facial structure, skin quality and areas of concern before recommending the most appropriate treatment.Your treatment plan may involve one area or a combination of areas, depending on your individual needs.

The aim is always to enhance your natural features rather than change how you look, creating subtle, balanced and natural-looking results.

Frequently Asked Questions

The longevity of dermal fillers varies depending on the product used, the area treated and individual factors such as your metabolism and lifestyle. Results can typically last between 6 and 18 months, although some treatments may last longer. During your consultation, we’ll discuss what you can realistically expect from your chosen treatment.

When carefully selected and expertly administered, dermal fillers can produce subtle, natural-looking results. At SG Aesthetics, our approach is to enhance your existing features rather than change how you look. We’ll consider your facial proportions, individual anatomy and desired outcome when creating your treatment plan.

Dermal fillers usually cause mild, short-lived discomfort rather than pain and most people find the treatments very manageable. Many modern fillers contain a local anaesthetic called lidocaine, and additional topical numbing can be used where appropriate to help keep you comfortable. You may experience some mild discomfort, tenderness or sensitivity during and after treatment, but this usually settles quickly.

Polynucleotides

PolyPhil injectable polynucleotides

POLYNUCLEOTIDES IN MORPETH

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are injectable treatments designed to support the skin's natural repair and regenerative processes.

Derived from purified DNA fragments, they are used in aesthetic medicine to improve overall skin quality rather than simply adding volume.

Once injected into the skin, polynucleotides are thought to support the skin’s natural regenerative processes and stimulate activity within the tissue. They can help improve hydration, elasticity and skin texture, creating a fresher, healthier-looking appearance over time.

Polynucleotide treatments are particularly suited to areas where the skin may appear dull, dehydrated, thin or lacking in elasticity. They can be used on the face, neck and hands, depending on the product selected and your individual needs.

PolyPhil™ Polynucleotides

At SG Aesthetics, we use PolyPhil™, an injectable polynucleotide treatment designed to support skin regeneration and improve skin quality. The polynucleotides used in PolyPhil™ are sourced from European freshwater fish intended for human consumption and undergo a purification process known as Polynucleotide High Purification Technology (PN-HPT).

PolyPhil™ treatments can help improve skin hydration, elasticity, texture and tone. They are not designed to change your facial features or add significant volume; instead, the aim is to improve the quality and appearance of the skin gradually, supporting a natural-looking result.

At SG Aesthetics, treatments are tailored to your skin and your desired outcome. Sarah’s extensive experience in aesthetic practice, combined with her clinical training and Master’s degree in Professional Non-Surgical Aesthetic Practice, allows her to take a considered approach to treatment and select the most appropriate option for each individual.

PolyPhil™ Eye

PolyPhil™ Eye is specifically formulated for the delicate skin around the eyes. It is designed to support skin quality in this sensitive area and improve the appearance of tired-looking eyes, helping the eye area to appear fresher and more revitalised.

A course of 2–3 treatments is usually recommended, although some improvement may be noticeable after a single session. Results develop gradually and the duration of effects varies between individuals.

PhilArt Next

A next-generation skin booster combining polynucleotides with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid to improve hydration, elasticity, firmness and overall skin quality. PhilArt Next is particularly suited to mature or dehydrated skin, helping to restore a smoother, fresher and more radiant appearance while supporting the skin’s natural rsegenerative processes.

Ideal for: dehydration, loss of elasticity, fine lines, dullness, mature skin and overall skin rejuvenation.

A course of 3 treatments, typically 3 weeks apart, is recommended, with the exact treatment plan tailored to your skin and individual needs.

Supporting your results at home

At SG Aesthetics, we believe that good skin health extends beyond in-clinic treatments. A personalised homecare routine using Obagi Medical® skincare may be recommended alongside your treatment to support your results and help maintain healthy-looking skin over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polynucleotides treatments are generally well tolerated, and most side effects are mild and temporary. Mild redness, swelling, small bumps and tenderness may occur following treatment. These usually settle within 24–72 hours, although bruising can take longer to resolve. Under-eye treatments may experience slightly longer-lasting swelling.

For this reason, we recommend avoiding injectable aesthetic treatments immediately before any social or important event. Your practitioner will provide detailed aftercare advice following your treatment.

Polynucleotides differ from other, hyaluronic-based skin boosters and dermal fillers. Rather than giving skin a surge in collagen and elastin, or ‘plumping’ the skin with carefully placed temporary products, polynucleotides are catalysts in the regeneration of fibroblasts – the main cells within the skin’s structure.

Polynucleotide treatments are supported by a growing body of clinical research demonstrating improvements in skin quality, hydration, elasticity and overall appearance. While research continues to evolve, polynucleotides have become an increasingly popular treatment in aesthetic medicine due to their excellent safety profile and natural-looking results.
